Associate Attorney

Duties:

  • Represent clients in employment-based immigration cases including EB1A, EB1B, NIW, EB2, and EB3 PERM labor certification;

  • Represent clients in business related immigration matters including EB5 immigration cases, EB5 regional center designation applications, and EB1C;

  • Represent clients regarding work visa applications including H1B, L1, O1, E2, and other cases;

  • Draft petition letters and prepare supporting documentation for cases filing with Case Management Platform;

  • Prepare responses to USCIS Requests for Evidence, Motions to Reopen/Reconsider and other responsive legal documents;

  • Counsel and advise clients on appropriate courses of action regarding non-immigration matters or employment-base based and business-related immigration matters;

  • Perform research on immigration laws, regulations, and precedents by using computer-assisted legal research tools, such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and etc.;

  • Participate in case evaluations and appointment schedules and participate in conferences or discussions with clients.

Qualification:

  • JD degree from a U.S.-accredited law school;

  • State Bar admission with any State Bar license;

  • Proficiency with various technology platforms, including Microsoft Office, and case management systems;

  • Strong ability to communicate complex legal issues accurately to colleagues or clients;

  • Self-sufficient, strong problem-solving, and legal research skills.

Pay: $108,014.00/yr.

Legal Assistant

Duties:

  • Prepare petition forms

  • Organize and maintain case documents and electronic case files according to firm’s operating procedures.

  • Assign translation work to the agency, check all translations and provide feedback

  • Other administrative duties such as printing, copying, and scanning, etc.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree is required

  • Bilingual in Chinese and English

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of QuickBooks.

Case Manager

Case Manager/Production Track Staff

  • Prepare, review, and finalize appropriate application forms and petition packages for the Departments of Homeland Security, State, Justice and Labor

  • Effectively communicate with clients to assemble documentation and keep clients informed of case status

  • Prepare procedural information and document checklist for clients

  • Escalate issues to attorney when necessary

  • Manage cases effectively to make sure deadlines are met

  • Supervise the work of legal support staff and provide guidance, provide necessary trainings to the legal support staff

  • Administer case management system, and track case status on a regular basis

  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system

  • Monitor case payment information and make sure clients make payment on-time

  • Report monthly case status to the Managing Attorney


Requirements:

  • Bilingual in English and Chinese

  • 3-5 years' enterprise working experience preferred

  • Bachelor's (Required)
