Prepare, review, and finalize appropriate application forms and petition packages for the Departments of Homeland Security, State, Justice and Labor

Effectively communicate with clients to assemble documentation and keep clients informed of case status

Prepare procedural information and document checklist for clients

Escalate issues to attorney when necessary

Manage cases effectively to make sure deadlines are met

Supervise the work of legal support staff and provide guidance, provide necessary trainings to the legal support staff

Associate Attorney
Job Description:
• Represent clients in employment-based immigration cases including EB1A, EB1B, NIW, EB2, and EB3 PERM labor certification;
• Represent clients in business-related immigration matters, including EB5 immigration cases, EB5 regional center designation applications, and EB1C;
• Represent clients regarding work visa applications including H1B, L1, O1, E2, and other cases;
• Draft petition letters and prepare supporting documentation for cases filing with Case Management Platform;
• Prepare responses to USCIS Requests for Evidence, Motions to Reopen/Reconsider and other responsive legal documents;
• Counsel and advise clients on appropriate courses of action regarding non-immigration matters or employment-base based and business-related immigration matters;
• Perform research on immigration laws, regulations, and precedents by using computer-assisted legal research tools, such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and etc.;
• Participate in case evaluations and appointment schedules and participate in conferences or discussions with clients.
Minimum Requirements:
• JD degree from a U.S.-accredited law school;
• State Bar admission with any State Bar license;
• Proficiency with various technology platforms, including Microsoft Office, and case management systems;
• Strong ability to communicate complex legal issues accurately to colleagues or clients;
• Self-sufficient, strong problem-solving, and legal research skills.
Annual Salary:
$94,203.00
