About Me
Samantha is the founder and managing attorney of Law Office of Xiaomin Hu, P.C. Samantha has extensive experience in a wide variety of employment- and investment-based immigration, focusing on permanent residence options for employment-based immigration, foreign investors, nonimmigrant petitions for multinational managers and executives, professional workers, investors, and naturalization.
Samantha earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University and graduated summa cum laude in Bachelor of Law (LL. B) from Xi’an University of Technology. While in law school, Samantha was a member of the Rex E. Lee Moot Court Team and Trial Advocacy Program. She was also the International Managing Editor for International Law and Management Review.
Before Samantha started her immigration practice, she worked for a full-service international firm in Shanghai and Miami. She has counseled and successfully represented international corporate clients in various matters such as compliance, contracts, investigation, investment, and employment dispute. Samantha also worked for a boutique immigration firm in Los Angeles and Orange County assisting a variety of clients in their immigration and non-immigration petitions.
Since the establishment of the firm, for L-1 and H-1B cases, we have maintained a nearly 100% approval rate and a low request for evidence rate. When handling cases, our attorneys and employees will always analyze the strength and weakness of the case in advance to prevent request for evidence and secure a high approval rate. Our clients include high tech companies, manufacturers, design firms, multinational corporations, individual EB-5 investors, and entrepreneurs, as well as families and individuals from various backgrounds.
Samantha is a member of the American Immigration Lawyer Association (AILA), Orange County Women Lawyer Association (OCWLA) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
Samantha speaks fluent Chinese and English.
